Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Wisdom Movement, received Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi on Sunday, exchanging condolences during the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). Al-Hakim lauded all popular and governmental efforts ensuring the success of this sacred Husseini ritual. During their meeting, Al-Hakim affirmed support for anti-corruption efforts and stressed the necessity of addressing the financial crisis. He explained this requires diversifying national income sources and oil export channels. He also praised the government's direction towards establishing genuine strategic partnerships with regional and international countries, reiterating support for its reform path, anti-corruption endeavors, and the importance of completing the government cabinet.
