Ammar al-Hakim, leader of the National Wisdom Movement, on Tuesday urged confining arms to the state through dialogue and understanding, affirming it as a constitutional and legal imperative. He met with female leaders of the National Wisdom Movement in Muthanna province, congratulating them on the approaching Prophet's birthday and the birth of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq. Al-Hakim called for emulating the Prophet's ethics, emphasizing mutual responsibility, empowering competent women, and talent discovery. He stated leadership entails influence, serving citizens, and enduring hardship for Iraqis. He highlighted reform projects and their challenges, advocating for addressing and explaining them. Effective influence, he noted, demands persuasive power and deep understanding of the project. Al-Hakim reiterated his call for restricting arms to the state via dialogue and understanding, confirming its constitutional and legal basis. He also backed the anti-corruption campaign, stressing its continuation and focus on major cases.
