The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, affirmed on Saturday Iraq's full support for Jordan in combating terrorism. Al-Maliki stated in a post on platform (X) that condemning terrorism is a fundamental and non-negotiable stance, highlighting that the terrorist crimes suffered by Iraqis—including targeting innocents, displacing families, and destroying cities by ISIS gangs—have deepened their awareness of the brutality and danger terrorism poses to societies. He added that Iraq stands alongside its brotherly neighbor Jordan in the fight against terrorism, emphasizing that the security of Arab peoples is interconnected and that solidarity in confronting extremism and terrorism is a shared responsibility among Arab nations.
