Al Quwa Al Jawiya team plays an important continental match today, Monday, against the Emirati Al Ain, at nine-fifteen in the evening, at the Basra International Stadium, within the competitions of the second round of the AFC Champions League Elite, in a match in which it looks forward to achieving its first points in the tournament. The Falcons rely on the completion of the team's ranks and public support to achieve a positive result against Al Ain, which has three points in its balance, while coach Rashid Jaber looks forward to leading the team in its first continental appearance since his return to coaching Al Quwa Al Jawiya, which he previously led to winning the Iraqi Stars League title last season. The confrontation comes after the improvement of Al Quwa Al Jawiya's results locally, as the team achieved a three-nil victory over Mosul in the Iraqi Stars League, which gives its players a moral boost before the Asian test. The Falcons seek to overcome their defeat in the opening round against the Uzbek Neftchi Fergana with a goal without reply, and improve their position in the standings, after they started their continental campaign with a loss.
