In a step aimed at enhancing digital transformation and developing the banking sector to support various segments in line with government directives, the financial sector witnessed the announcement of a new package of banking and financing services under the patronage of the Minister of Finance. These developments come within a field visit conducted by the minister, which included a meeting with senior staff and an inspection tour to monitor workflow and the level of services provided in several vital departments and branches. In this context, the electronic loans for employees and retirees whose salaries are domiciled with the bank and who hold the Rafidain card were officially launched this Monday, in accordance with approved regulations and instructions. The new package also included the opening of a dedicated business class branch to provide specialized banking services in line with best global practices adopted in this field. Furthermore, the measures included launching internet banking services and activating instant notifications via text messages to track withdrawal and deposit transactions in a large number of branches operating under the comprehensive electronic banking system, with continuous plans to convert the remaining branches and expand the scope of providing services to citizens successively.
