In a move aimed at completing the governmental landscape and accelerating the stability of executive institutions, a new political development occurred as Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi officially addressed parliament to hold an emergency session next Thursday. The purpose is to finalize the voting process for the deputies of the prime minister, in addition to filling vacant and newly established ministerial portfolios within the new governmental structure. Al-Zaidi stressed in an official document reviewed by concerned parties his commitment to the reformist and financial austerity aspect, confirming that the new deputies will work completely without receiving any salaries or financial allocations, alongside prohibiting any new appointments regarding their official offices in an effort to rationalize government spending.
