Basra Crude Registers Decline in Weekly Trading Close

Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil prices concluded the week's trading with a notable decline, influenced by drops recorded in the final sessions of the global oil market. Basra Heavy crude fell by 80 cents per barrel in the last session, representing a 0.88% decrease, to close at $90.27 per barrel. Its total weekly losses amounted to $5.84, equivalent to 6.47%, compared to its opening price of $96.11. Similarly, Basra Medium crude declined by 80 cents per barrel, or 0.85%, ending trading at $93.57 per barrel. It recorded a weekly loss of $5.84, representing 6.24%, from its initial level of $99.41 per barrel.
