Local financial markets witnessed new developments regarding the movement of foreign currencies against the national currency, recording notable declines in the markets. In this context, the exchange rates of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar decreased during the morning transactions on Saturday, as the US currency continued its downward trajectory, registering levels below the threshold of one hundred and sixty-five thousand dinars. The selling price in exchange shops in the capital, Baghdad, reached one hundred and sixty-four thousand dinars per one hundred dollars, while the buying price settled at one hundred and sixty-three thousand dinars for the same category, amidst ongoing trading activity within local markets.
