Government approves crop imports and expands oil export routes

Iraq’s Ministerial Council for Economy approved importing selected agricultural crops while directing efforts to expand oil export routes. During the session chaired by Fuad Hussein, discussions covered exports from Kirkuk via the Iraq-Turkey pipeline as well as land and maritime transport. The council stressed leveraging high oil prices while ensuring domestic fuel supply remains stable.
