Spanish coach Pep Guardiola has finalized his stance on potentially taking charge of Turkish club Trabzonspor, following recent press reports about the club's interest in the experienced manager. FourFourTwo magazine, citing Turkish media, revealed that Trabzonspor had initiated contact with Guardiola to discuss his permanent appointment as the team's technical director in the coming period, reportedly offering a substantial annual salary of 13 million euros. However, the Spanish newspaper AS definitively put an end to the speculation, quoting Guardiola's agent who flatly denied these reports. Guardiola's agent stated in a brief comment to the newspaper: "Pep will not coach any club or national team this season." Trabzonspor currently sits in fourth place in the Turkish League with 7 points. The team's European campaign also ended in significant disappointment, as they were eliminated from the preliminary rounds of the Europa League following a comprehensive 5-0 aggregate defeat by Hungarian side Ferencváros.
