Gulf Markets Rise on Ceasefire Hopes

Most Gulf markets closed higher on Wednesday, supported by investor optimism over a potential ceasefire agreement.

Dubai led gains, with its main index rising 4.2%, marking its biggest daily increase since December 2024, driven by Emaar Properties and Emirates NBD.

Abu Dhabi’s index rose 2%, while Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait also recorded gains.
