In a move aimed at reorganizing the ranks of the first football team, the management of Al Shorta Sports Club officially announced the signing of coach Hussein Abdel Wahed to take over the technical leadership of the football team. This administrative decision comes to succeed Tunisian coach Sami Trabelsi, after the administrative board had ended its association with the previous technical staff led by him amicably and by mutual consent following a mutual agreement to terminate the training relationship between the two parties permanently. The club confirmed in its official statement that the new coach will lead the Green Harp in the coming period.
