An Interior Ministry employee was injured by a gunshot wound to the neck on Thursday after shooting himself during a break within the facility protection sector of the General Company for Car Trade in the Kargoliya area of Baghdad. The injured person's health condition was described as unstable and he was transferred for medical treatment. In a separate incident, a man born in 1986 attempted suicide by hanging himself using a cloth tied to the ceiling of his home in the Zaafraniya area, according to initial reports citing psychological pressures as the cause. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment, and his health condition was reported as stable.
