The Israeli National Security Council has issued an updated travel warning for its citizens, advising against travel abroad ahead of the Jewish holiday season. This update urges Israelis to avoid residency or visits in several Arab and Islamic countries, citing ongoing regional tensions and perceived threats targeting Israelis and Jews abroad. The Council categorized Jordan, Qatar, Egypt (including the Sinai Peninsula), and Somalia under Level 4, its highest warning. It explicitly called on Israelis not to travel to these nations and demanded that those currently present there depart immediately. Warnings also encompassed Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, and Algeria, recommending citizens avoid travel to them. The Council further noted continued potential risks in countries bordering Iran, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates, attributing these concerns to activities by entities it linked to Tehran or its allies. The National Security Council concluded by urging travelers to follow issued instructions and strictly adhere to assessments from relevant security agencies.
