Young Spanish star Lamine Yamal, a Barcelona player, has revealed his extensive experience with racism in football, affirming that being called "black" does not bother him, as he indeed has dark skin. These remarks came during an upcoming interview for the "Universo Valdano" program, scheduled to air on Friday on the "Movistar Plus" network. During the discussion, Yamal stated that he has "faced racism a thousand times," noting that some individuals may practice it indirectly or unknowingly. Referring to a known incident at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, where racist remarks were directed at him and his teammate Raphinha, Yamal clarified the reason for his calm reaction at the time. He said that the person who called him "black did not bother me, as I am indeed black," adding that getting angry during a match people paid to watch is not his choice, even if the action was intended to insult and is considered wrong.
