The Ministry of Trade announced the commencement of cutting and preparing the seventh food basket along with the social protection basket in Baghdad and other provinces, starting from the upcoming Sunday. Lama Hashem Al-Mousawi, General Manager of the General Company for Food Trade, stated that the process will begin on November 1 across all provinces, following a marketing plan designed to ensure smooth distribution. Priority will be given to the most impoverished areas, with the preparation of other regions continuing according to approved schedules. Al-Mousawi urged citizens and families to visit their authorized ration agents to receive the items of both baskets at once according to the specified preparation schedules, emphasizing the company's commitment to continuously secure and deliver food supplies to eligible recipients in Baghdad and the provinces.
