Najaf's Friday preacher, Sadr al-Din al-Qabbanji, on Friday urged Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi to demand the lifting of the blockade on Iraq's financial revenues during his upcoming U.S. visit. Al-Qabbanji emphasized the importance of securing the release of these oil revenues, noting a significant portion remains in the U.S. Federal Bank, despite Iraq's exit from Chapter VII. He reiterated his call for the Prime Minister to work on removing this financial restriction.
