Oil prices pared earlier gains after Iranian media reported that the armed forces declared the conclusion of their military operation against Israel, following a day of exchanged attacks between the two sides. Benchmark international Brent crude is currently trading up by 1.4%, having previously surged by as much as 5.4%. The semi-official Fars news agency indicated that the central command of the Iranian army announced the termination of the operation launched against Israel, warning that "harsher and more destructive attacks" would be imminent if Israel continued its assaults, including targeting southern Lebanon.
