The organization stated in a release: "We contacted Manchester United this evening to acknowledge the error. An investigation into the incident will be conducted." The match, played last Sunday, concluded with Manchester City's victory, where Haaland scored the sole goal. Manchester City played with ten players from the 23rd minute after one of their players was sent off.
