Trump wrote on the "Truth Social" platform that false news reports claiming that communication between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States stopped a few days ago are false and misleading, affirming that talks between the two sides are continuing including four days ago, three days ago, two days ago, one day ago, and today.
Trump added that he told Iran the time has come, sooner or later, to reach a deal, noting that this situation has lasted 47 years and cannot be allowed to continue any longer.
Iran's official Tasnim news agency had earlier reported that Tehran suspended indirect negotiations with the United States after Israel ordered its forces to advance further into Lebanon.
