Turkish Foreign Minister Warns of Regional Conflict Expansion if New Attack on Iran Occurs

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated during a press conference held today, Friday, on the sidelines of the regional quadripartite meeting in Istanbul, that the meeting addressed the situations in Iran, the Gulf countries, and Yemen, emphasizing the need to find solutions to the ongoing conflicts in these areas. Fidan noted that the meeting, which included foreign ministers from Egypt, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, discussed the potential attack on Iran, the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, and Israeli aggression in the region, exploring ways to reach peaceful resolutions to these challenges. The Turkish minister affirmed his country's support for ending the war in the Gulf and resolving disputes through dialogue, stressing that any possible military action against Iran is not the right solution and lacks support. Fidan warned that any new attack on Iran would lead to an expansion of the war in the region, further complicating the security and political situation in the Middle East.
