Yasmine Sabri Discusses Future Partner, Artistic Journey, and Beauty Secrets

Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri shared insights into her personal life, artistic journey, fitness regimen, and the qualities of her ideal partner. She also reminisced about her work with the late actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz. Sabri recalled her acting debut in "Gabal Al Halal," her first drama, and revealed Abdel Aziz's desire to marry her off to a family member. She quoted him saying: "He wanted to marry me to someone from his family, he used to tell me that." Abdel Aziz described her as "fragile," a label she challenged: "He saw me as delicate and weak, but my strength lies in my softness." Asked if she seeks a man, Sabri confidently responded: "No, I am sought after." She clarified her view on relationships, stressing: "A woman doesn't chase a man; it disrupts natural balance. A woman is never the hunter." Her ideal partner, Sabri emphasized, must possess a "beautiful mind, heart, and soul," noting that finding such a person is a significant challenge today. Discussing her beauty and fitness routine, Sabri highlighted that true leanness comes from holistic health, diet, and sufficient sleep, not just cosmetics. She advised women to "invest in themselves and their health." She exercises for 90 minutes daily, prioritizes skin rest, minimizes makeup, and applies her own for casual events. Her diet reduces starches, flour, and rice, focusing on fish, which led to a noticeable improvement in her physique. Sabri monitors her body with centimeter measurements instead of traditional weight, strictly avoiding mango, rice, and starches. Her meals primarily feature fish, less red meat, and no white flour, except for local bread in the morning. She attributed the disappearance of previously unknown swelling and internal inflammation to this diet. Explaining her philosophy on fasting, she stated: "The stomach is the body's second brain; resting it aids mental clarity, deepens spiritual connection, and facilitates proper worship." Finally, Sabri revealed her upcoming film "Naseeb," set for release soon. She co-stars with Moatasem Al Nahar, Donia Maher, and Mostafa Abu Srea. Ahmed Abdel Fattah penned the script, and Ahmed Khaled Amin directed.
