A 5-magnitude earthquake struck Saimbeyli district in Turkey's southern Adana province early this morning. Residents across several neighboring provinces reported feeling the tremors; however, no damages have been recorded to date from this seismic event. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated the quake occurred at 04:02 local time, with its epicenter at a depth of 7 kilometers. Residents in provinces including Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Kayseri, and Gaziantep felt the shaking. AFAD confirmed that field surveys are underway to assess the full impact, noting no adverse conditions or losses have been reported thus far.
