Amidst the current political and security developments in the country, the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, received on Friday the Minister of the Interior, Yasser Al-Maliki, to offer congratulations on winning the confidence of the House of Representatives and officially assuming the leadership of the Ministry of the Interior. A statement issued by Al-Amiri's office clarified that the meeting served as a platform to reaffirm continuous support for new officials, with Al-Amiri expressing his sincere wishes for Al-Maliki to succeed in his grave duties and shoulder the sensitive responsibilities of the ministry, as well as to continue diligent work on developing the security system and enhancing the performance of its affiliated institutions to serve the citizens' interests. The statement added that both sides discussed with keen interest the latest security situations across the country, outlined the ministry's prominent priorities for the upcoming phase, and emphasized the importance of coordinating joint efforts among various concerned institutions to establish the pillars of security and reinforce the rule of law throughout all Iraqi provinces.
