Al-Zaidi Orders Opening of 10 New Hospitals Within Six Months

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi has ordered the opening of ten new hospitals within the next six months, aiming to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure and meet the growing patient demands. Wael Al-Kubaisi, Director General of the Baghdad Karkh Health Directorate, stated that these directives come under the direct supervision of the Minister of Health, Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi, emphasizing that the upcoming hospitals will significantly improve medical services for citizens. Al-Kubaisi highlighted that among these projects is Al-Jawadeen Hospital in the Sabaa Al-Bor area, with a capacity of 100 beds, expected to alleviate the pressure on health facilities in the region. He also mentioned Al-Hurriya Hospital, the largest in the Karkh Health Directorate, with 400 beds, as well as Rahmaniya Al-Shoala Hospital, which has a capacity of 100 beds and is expected to be completed within two to three years. In a related development, the director confirmed that new shipments of medicines will soon arrive in Iraq, enhancing the availability of essential medical supplies in hospitals and health centers. This reflects the government's efforts to improve the health sector and provide adequate medical care to the population.
