Aramco Instructs Employees to Work Remotely Following Headquarters Attack

Aramco has instructed its employees to evacuate its main headquarters in Dhahran and work remotely, marking an unprecedented move since the onset of the Iranian conflict. This directive follows a significant attack by the Houthi group from Yemen, which caused extensive fire damage across multiple floors of the company's building. The headquarters houses a critical operations center overseeing onshore and offshore oil platforms, refineries, export terminals, and thousands of kilometers of pipeline networks. In a separate incident, two individuals were killed after a drone attempting to target a facility at the Shaybah oil field was intercepted by Saudi air defenses. Saudi Arabia responded to these attacks with a series of strikes on missile launch sites, reaffirming its commitment to national protection and reporting the interception of numerous ballistic missiles launched by the group.
