Iranian President Masoud Bazeshkyan stated on Wednesday that the United States cannot expect dialogue with Iran while imposing sanctions and threats on the country. This statement followed the visit of the Pakistani army chief to Tehran, which focused on mediation efforts and regional developments. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the Financial Times that Iran is ready for diplomacy but will defend itself. He added that there is no trust in the declared intentions of the U.S. administration for peace with Iran, emphasizing that there is no reason to expect progress at this time due to the lack of genuine American willingness to reach an understanding.
