Central Bank Denies Issuing Large Loan Approvals for Its Employees

The Central Bank of Iraq denied on Wednesday the circulating claims about granting its employees loans amounting to 300 million dinars. In an official statement, the bank clarified that the document shared on media outlets and social networks regarding this matter is forged and was not issued by the bank in any form. The statement emphasized that the circulated information is baseless and that the bank did not issue any letter or decision related to granting loans of such magnitude to its employees, stressing the importance of verifying news accuracy before dissemination.
