In a move that strengthens Iraq's financial presence regionally, a prominent figure has been chosen to assume a high-level responsibility within Arab monetary institutions. In this context, the Board of Governors of Arab Central Banks and Monetary Agencies elected Iraqi Central Bank Governor Nizar Nasser Hussein as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of Arab Central Banks and Monetary Agencies. This selection comes to honor the country's growing banking role, as this high position represents the second largest position at the level of the entire Arab world in the fields of banks, central banks, and monetary management and its general policies.
