Global markets witnessed limited movements during Friday's trading session, as prices recorded modest gains supported by recent economic developments and lingering concerns over global fuel supply shortages. Specifically, Brent crude climbed by 29 cents, representing a 0.28 percent increase to reach 102.60 dollars per barrel. Concurrently, US West Texas Intermediate crude grew by 27 cents, marking a 0.29 percent rise to settle at 93.14 dollars. This subdued performance follows a previous session that recorded strong gains exceeding four dollars for Brent, while US crude advanced by more than two dollars, driven by press reports and news regarding Chinese export volumes that stoked market anxieties over worsening global fuel scarcity.
