Clarification from Popular Mobilization regarding old video clip phone call martyr Abu Mahdi

The Popular Mobilization forces denied that Lieutenant General Qassim Atta was the person intended in the circulated phone call of Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

The Mobilization stated in a statement that "some social media platforms circulated a video clip of the martyred leader Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, speaking on the phone with a person named Qassim regarding the work of the War Media Cell, and some pages indicated that the person meant was Lieutenant General Qassim Atta."

It added: "We would like to clarify that the person intended in the conversation was not Lieutenant General Qassim Atta, but rather another person carrying the same name, as Lieutenant General Qassim Atta previously held the position of Commander of Operations of the Intelligence Service, and had no relationship with the War Media Cell at that time."
