Reuters, citing tracking data, reported this figure represents a decrease from six vessels the previous day, and is significantly below the ten-day average of approximately sixteen ships. Kepler, a specialized ship-tracking firm, indicated that three vessels entered the strait towards the Gulf, while one exited. These included two Panamax tankers, one Supramax vessel, and one Kamsarmax. This strategic waterway historically carried one-fifth of global oil and gas shipments before the recent conflict.
