The Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, the reinforcement of military deployment along the defensive line between Raweh and Hadar. The ministry clarified that the units of the Island Operations Command and West Nineveh have begun to strengthen their presence on this defensive line, aiming to enforce security and stability in the Island regions north of the Euphrates, as well as areas heading towards Nineveh and Salahuddin provinces. This deployment is part of efforts to hold desert areas and pursue remaining terrorist elements, preventing them from using the desert as a safe haven, in addition to securing a shortcut road that facilitates citizen movement and enhances commercial activity, thereby supporting investment, agricultural, and pastoral activities in the region. The ministry affirmed the continued performance of army units within operational sectors to maintain security and stability, serving the people and the beloved country.
