Within the framework of ongoing government efforts to unify economic visions and enhance institutional integration, Deputy Prime Minister Laith Al-Khazali met on Monday with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Nizar Nasser Hussein, who offered his congratulations on assuming his new position, wishing him success in performing his official duties. During the meeting, Al-Khazali stressed the necessity of strengthening ties of cooperation and joint coordination between various state institutions and the central bank, pointing out that this integration represents a fundamental pillar in supporting financial and monetary stability in the country. The two sides also touched upon the importance of pushing economic development paths toward broader horizons to serve the higher national interests, and at the end of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation for this visit and fruitful congratulations.
