The incident occurred after an explosion was heard in Nasiriyah, the provincial capital. Specialized teams subsequently located a missile warhead that had fallen in an open area between Nasiriyah and Al-Bathaa district. Field surveys conducted by technical teams later confirmed no civilian injuries or material damage to surrounding areas at the impact site, occurring amidst escalating security tensions in the region. Immediately, security forces cordoned off the site and began necessary technical procedures to deal with the fallen object's remnants, aiming to secure the area and ensure the safety of nearby civilians.
