The National Security Service launched its "Mayyiz Al-Tazyeef" (Distinguish Falsification) platform on Tuesday, aiming to raise public awareness about the escalating risks of artificial intelligence and deepfake technologies. Arshad Al-Hakim, the Service's spokesperson, explained in a press conference that this platform is the first of its kind in Iraq, designed to enhance citizens' ability to verify digital content. Al-Hakim added that the platform offers an interactive experience for distinguishing real images, videos, and audio from fake ones, in addition to identifying methods of disinformation and electronic fraud.
