The Federal Police Command announced on Thursday the seizure of a cache containing weapons, ammunition, and explosives prepared for detonation in the Arab Jabour area located south of the capital, during a preemptive operation conducted jointly with the National Security apparatus. The command stated in a release that units from the second division of the Federal Police provided support and assistance to the National Security teams in carrying out the operation, which was directly overseen by the Commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohammed Qasim Al-Fahd. Additionally, the field engineering battalion of the second division took charge of dismantling the seized explosives, following security protocols for handling hazardous materials and ensuring the complete safety of the site.
