Norwegian star Erling Haaland, striker for Premier League leaders Manchester City, has announced his involvement in a luxury residential project named "Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana" located in Abu Dhabi. This upscale housing complex, inspired by a sports theme, is developed by Ohana Development in partnership with Manchester City, with a total project value of approximately €3.92 billion. Haaland revealed the news through a video released by the developer on his "X" platform account, stating during a company event: "Hello everyone, I am very happy to join the Manchester City project with Ohana. I have just purchased a home, and so has my father, so we will soon be neighbors." His father, Alfie Haaland, attended the ceremony, which was held before an audience of around 4,000 people. Alfie took the stage shortly after former Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who praised the host city and described the location as his "second home" during a half-hour speech. Meanwhile, the Norwegian player's father expressed regret over his son's absence, saying, "Erling really wanted to be here." The international player concluded his message in the introductory video by saying, "We love this area a lot, so I am really excited about this." The residential complex is situated next to Yas Canal on Yas Island and includes a variety of amenities such as a gym, a kart racing track, an open-air amphitheater, a spa, a wellness center, restaurants, climbing walls, and dedicated skiing areas. Reports indicate that the average price for two-bedroom townhouses in the development is about €935,000, while five-bedroom villas measuring 600 square meters reach approximately €2.8 million. The most exclusive and luxurious properties start from €8.4 million. Purchasing these properties grants owners a "golden visa," allowing them to reside in the country for ten years. When asked about the real estate deal involving Erling and Alfie Haaland in the Middle East, the financial advisor for Haaland's team declined to comment, stating, "I have nothing to say on this matter. If you have seen the video and the event, no further comment is needed." Erling Haaland's extensive real estate portfolio includes an apartment in the Sommerro complex in Oslo, another apartment in his hometown Bryne, and a luxury villa in Marbella. British media also reported his recent purchase of a property in Cheshire, on the outskirts of Manchester.
