The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in security matters. Al-Maliki emphasized the importance of adopting a scientific approach and careful planning in managing security work to improve performance efficiency and consolidate stability. Meanwhile, the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires highlighted his country's support for the Ministry of Interior in training, qualification, and logistical support, contributing to the readiness of internal security forces and strengthening their capabilities to face challenges.
