Amid ongoing developments regarding the nuclear file, International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi revealed the agency's full readiness to organize joint cooperation mechanisms with Tehran while taking its specific demands into consideration, emphasizing in this context the utmost importance of continuing efforts and diligent work in the field of non-proliferation. Grossi explained, during statements made in a press interview with the RIA Novosti agency, that the international institution is capable of managing and coordinating cooperation with the Iranian side with full respect and consideration for its demands, while stressing at the same time the inevitability of continuing work related to nuclear non-proliferation. It is worth noting that the issue of the complete restoration of the agency's inspection activities inside Iranian territory remains at the forefront of the presented files, especially after Tehran proceeded to restrict the missions of inspectors following the American and Israeli military strikes that targeted nuclear facilities, as well as its subsequent decision to suspend cooperation with the international body. The international official pointed out that the form and nature of future cooperation are closely linked to the course of other political developments, pointing to the need for the agency to possess the necessary patience and persistence. He also stressed that building a partnership and cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency represents a pure national interest for Iran itself, explaining that clear messages are being delivered to the Iranian side that joint interaction is necessary and inevitable. On the other hand, Iranian official television, based on statements by an informed official, indicated that Tehran is not currently conducting any talks or negotiations regarding its nuclear program, affirming the firmness of the Iranian position and its unchanged stance towards this file. It is worth remembering that the constant in the official Iranian doctrine is the purely peaceful nature of the nuclear program and the absence of any intentions to produce nuclear weapons, a direction that is politically and legally entrenched based on a religious fatwa issued by the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei prohibiting the manufacture and acquisition of the atomic bomb.
