Within the ongoing diplomatic landscape, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed on Monday the strategic nature of his country's ties with Russia, drawing attention to the continuous consultation and joint cooperation between the two sides regarding various regional and international issues. These remarks came following a fruitful and important meeting held by Araghchi with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, where he pointed out that the path of economic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow is proceeding well and faces no obstacles. In the context of expanded discussions, he explained that both parties reviewed the current developments in Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, and Afghanistan, strongly emphasizing that the region's crises cannot be resolved through military options but rather strictly through diplomatic pathways. Araghchi directly accused the United States and Israel of bearing full responsibility for the prevailing insecurity in the region, considering that aggression against Iran and the imposition of economic blockade represent two main reasons behind instability.
