Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, affirmed on Tuesday that diplomacy is not surrender, but rather a tool for transforming battlefield power into tangible political gains. Ghalibaf described diplomacy as a "fundamental arena of confrontation" that his country is currently engaged in. Ghalibaf's remarks came during a ceremony honoring war veterans, where he stressed that Iran will never surrender in "this complex war," which encompasses economic, military, and diplomatic dimensions. He clarified that life in Iran will not cease, emphasizing the country's ability to respond powerfully, as it has done so far. The Parliament Speaker added, according to Iran's Tasnim news agency, that his country is now capable of targeting any desired point with its missiles without restrictions. Ghalibaf also delivered a direct message to former US President Donald Trump, stating that Trump must realize he cannot impose his power on Iran.
