The General Company for Gas Filling and Services, affiliated with the Ministry of Oil, announced on Saturday a significant increase in the number of vehicles equipped with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems, reaching approximately 100,000 cars. The company affirmed its ongoing efforts to further boost these figures in the coming period. Mahdi Al-Nouri, the company's Media Director, clarified in a statement that the actual number of vehicles currently fitted with the LPG system ranges between 98,000 and 100,000 cars. Al-Nouri noted that work is progressing at an accelerated pace, driven by substantial public interest from citizens eager to install LPG systems in their vehicles. Al-Nouri added that the company continues to provide installation services through its 26 specialized workshops distributed across various Iraqi governorates. This increasing demand reflects citizens' growing interest in utilizing this type of fuel for their cars, while the company persists in its efforts to meet the rising demand and expand the scope of available service.
