In line with judicial efforts to combat public fund embezzlement, Salah al-Din Criminal Court sentenced six individuals to fifteen years in prison for unlawfully seizing funds allocated for local service projects across the governorate. According to a judicial statement, the seized sums were designated to cover costs for rehabilitating and maintaining electrical installations, cleaning government offices, as well as the estimated cost sheet for supplying materials for a 400 kV power transmission line.
