As part of ongoing political arrangements to complete the government formation, the Kurdistan Democratic Party finalized on Saturday its official candidates for prominent governmental positions including deputy prime minister and minister of construction and housing. In this context, KDP MP Sherwan Dubardani clarified that the party's concerned authorities have definitively chosen the nominated figures, with Benkin Rekani nominated for the position of deputy prime minister, while Ribaz Hamlan was selected to head the Ministry of Construction and Housing. Dubardani pointed out developments related to the legislative track, noting that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi informed the presidency board of the House of Representatives of his intention to send the CVs of all candidates to parliament on Sunday, in preparation for holding an official parliamentary session on Monday dedicated to voting on approving these candidates.
