The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Friday an incident in the Strait of Hormuz. An official reported a naval tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile, resulting in a fire on board that was later extinguished. Reports confirmed the safety of all crew members following the incident. The UKMTO has not yet confirmed any environmental damage resulting from the event.
