Oil prices declined Wednesday, as Saudi Arabia resumed crude supplies via a vital pipeline to the Red Sea. This coincided with growing hopes for a diplomatic resolution to the U.S.-Iran conflict, through talks at the UN in New York. Brent crude futures fell seven cents, or 0.07%, to $99.18 per barrel by 01:19 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also dropped 35 cents, or 0.39%, to $90.17 per barrel. U.S. President Donald Trump warned Tuesday he could "obliterate" Iran. Yet, he also said envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held fruitful talks with Iranian intermediaries to end the war, adding: "I think there's a lot of momentum to make a deal".
