Tehran announced Saudi Arabia requested the postponement of a bilateral meeting in Salalah, Oman, citing Yemen's evolving situation. Ismail Baghaei, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, confirmed the Salalah meeting was cancelled, with Riyadh seeking its deferral to a later date due to ongoing events in Yemen. Baghaei further affirmed the Iran-Oman agreement on waterway demarcation as a sovereign matter for both nations. He reiterated Tehran's non-interference in Yemeni affairs, criticizing "some countries that exploit these events against us and fish in troubled waters."
