Saudi Military Operation in Hodeidah to Secure Waterways

As part of ongoing efforts to protect regional security and international navigation safety, field developments indicated that the Saudi armed forces executed a qualitative military activity in Yemen's Hodeidah governorate. In this context, the Spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated on Monday that the naval forces carried out the operation targeting the destruction of legitimate military objectives belonging to the Houthi militia. Al-Maliki pointed out via his official account on the "X" platform that the military move succeeded in thwarting a planned scheme for imminent attacks targeting vital waterways in the southern Red Sea.
