Amid ongoing political engagements, the Services Alliance on Monday called for accelerating the submission of the two Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) commission laws for a vote. Concurrently, the Alliance affirmed its support for the initiative to place arms exclusively under state control, management, and regulation. Hussam Al-Rubaie, a member of the political bureau and official spokesperson for the Services Alliance, stated that a delegation from the Alliance, led by Mohammed Sahib Al-Darraji, discussed several pivotal issues with Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi. Foremost among these topics was the urgency of forwarding the Hashd al-Shaabi commission laws. Furthermore, the Alliance emphasized its backing for anti-corruption efforts and comprehensive economic reforms, alongside working to enhance citizen services and advocating for the approval of the Food and Drug Authority law.
